Class of 87(ward 3) Most of us have fond memories of The Strange Game but some of us still have nightmares. I can barely recall the Haunting tunes fading into the darkness, the howling at midnight and that sad little whimper. Aaah those were the days, the sounds of laughter in the distance and like Paul Reveres ride, the clarion call of “They’re coming to take me away”

We have voted The Strange Game, "Band of the year" three times in a row and this has nothing to do with the fact that the publisher is a relative.

Gorgeous, beautiful, breath taking these are not words I would use in describing The Strange Game. Their silicon filled songs are inflated like the mammeries of the Hindenburg, and just when you think they will float off into some pandemic horizon they explode in the quiescence of their nascent quantitative meanderings.
Despite the fact that they wear underwear (Legal briefs – Barneys $3250 a pair) the songs pervade a pre-adolescent asexual quality that lays dormant, until suddenly like the new year’s eve ball in time square (parties at my house this year) they drop and the awareness of “What the hell was that?” screams like a banshee in heat.
